• Seven legged crab-Sometimes my best work comes from a deep place. These are my children on "the slip" on Newton Ferrers harbour. I  did this collage as a technical challenge using grey tones. I restricted myself to a pair of children's craft scissors, grey paper and a glue stick. The aim- simplicity and tone.

• Scruffy terrier and I connected through a look. Bright, enquiring, trusting. I wanted to bring all these characteristics to the viewers attention.  
   
• My sister’s boyfriend was more about reflecting on deeper human emotions, not always ones we are keen to acknowledge. This was created after reading Death in Venice, a short story based on obsession.

Naomi Hulatt- Artist Biography.

Naomi is a self -taught artist living on the glorious south coast of Devon. She likes to sketch, paint and Linocut print. 

During 2023 she exhibited at the Royal Cambrian Academy (Conwy), Penlee Gallery (Penzance), Gallery Different (London), Artizan Gallery (Torquay), The Hub Gallery (Newton Ferrers) and was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.         
In 2024 she exhibited at Delamore Arts, and in the Artizan gallery Women’s Open, Summer & Winter  and prints Exhibitions. She was also commissioned as the artist of medical advertising campaign. She‘s currently exhibiting at the SWAc open exhibition In Sidmouth. She‘s inspired by movement, expressions and light and likes figurative drawings and paintings best of all.
