Sarah is a collage artist based in North Devon, UK. Inspired by the natural world, she uses recycled magazines to create her animal based artworks.
Her practise has evolved to often include three dimensional elements, creating a more life like feel to her work. Understanding the movement and form of her subject before starting is an important part of Sarah's work. This helps to build the layers and create the right flow within each of her unique pieces.

Since graduating from Falmouth University in 2011 with a degree in Illustration Sarah began working as a freelance editorial illustrator with commissions from The Wall Street Journal, German Wings airline and Starbucks. Joining Lemonade illustration agency in 2013 and continuing with editorial work Sarah began working on personal projects and started selling to galleries.

Her step into fine art progressed and her inivative use of collage deemed popular. She co-founded her own gallery and working studio in 2016 and is now a full time professional artist selling her work globally. 

In March 2023 Sarahs artwork ‘Octavia’ was selected to exhibit at the Royal Society of British Artists Bicentennial exhibition at Mall galleries where it was awarded the Ronald Morgan Memorial award along with receiving highly commended from The de Laszlo Foundation Prize.

Becoming a finalist in the 'David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year' in both 2022 and 2021 has also been a career highlight with it encompassing so many of the values that she holds. Evolving, adapting and improving her practise are things that happen with each new piece and she is excited to see how her recent series of sculpted cardboard pieces develop.
